About VegiCouture

Jennifer Warden – Founder

Jennifer holds a B.A. in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Administration.
She worked briefly as a psychotherapist before opting to stay home and be with her daughter, Olivia.

Jennifer also had the good fortune to study the Culinary Arts with Anne Willan at LaVarenne, but has now swapped duck liver pate` for olive tapenade.

After many health challenges (lymphoma, diabetes, high cholesterol) coupled with her concern for the environment and the ethical treatment of animals, she has found new life and energy consuming a plant-based diet.

The changes were so profound that as she puts it, “it would be irresponsible of me NOT to share this information”.

Hence, VegiCouture LifeStyle was born.

Jennifer loves cooking, photography, reading, writing, movies, and hanging out (teenage phraseology) with her daughter, Olivia. Not in this order☺

Sherry Mack – Editor and Researcher

Sherry has a B.A. in English and a Master’s Degree in Social Administration. She has worked as both a medical social worker and then later as a psychotherapist.

She doubles as my mom and we enjoy having “business meetings” at our favorite restaurants and coffee shops.

If I pose a question, Sherry researches the answer with deft precision. Her editorial skills are well honed making her a most valuable team member.

Thankfully, her skills as a therapist are of great assistance to me when I am feeling overwhelmed with this journey into entrepreneurship.

She is also a fantastic cook and has adjusted her cooking style in support of my lifestyle change since I dine (mooch?) at her home with some frequency.

Sherry does Tai Chi daily and loves to walk with her husband, Jim, and their canine family member, Duncan.

Thank you mom.

I love you. xo

Bashir Faddoul – Graphic/Web Designer, Director of Communications and Social Media

Bashir graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication, with minors in Marketing and Psychology.

When Bashir isn’t hard at work as a graphic designer, he tries to maintain a healthy lifestyle by working out regularly and eating well.

He appreciates being a part of the VegiCouture team because he gets a lot of healthy eating tips from his Aunt Jennifer!
